Getting started!

Had our first meeting and we are off to a great start!

We had out introductions and then we developed our action plan for the next 6 months.

Priorities, Strategies and Outcomes

1. Develop staff capabilities in developing funding/training partnership in Industry

1.1 Identify skills needed and training required
1.2 Identify links in Industry – already established
1.3 Promotion day/launch of team – industry/staff

1.1.1 Identify kills proficiencies/training/consultancy opportunitites
1.1.2 CDProcesses – forms/ flow charts

2. Develop process and resourses that assist to respond to industry training needs

2.1 Meet with Hunter Institute
2.2 Develop templates that assist in repackaging resources
2.3 Implementing Certificate IV in Community Services in a Pilot (Bobby Goldsmith Foundation)

2.2.1 Teacher – evidence guides
2.2.2 Learner- evidence guides
2.2.3 Flowchart

3. Develop marketing strategies

3.1 Develop communication strategies within the team
3.2 Identify meeting dates and times
3. 3 Prioritise resources

3.3.1 Logo (identity), Business Cards Laptop/litepro
3.3.2 Brochures – faculty specific, electronic version, hard copy
3.3.3 Website – Blog, good new stories examples, email account, Training Room design and use

Talkfest planned 11th and 12th April with Hunter will be a great start to this project!
